Abstract

with the gradual deepening of the aging of the population in ethnic minority areas, the level and quality of pension services
are the key to determine the well-being and achievement of people in ethnic minority areas. In order to better meet the needs of the elderly
and build the cause of providing for the aged in our country, the mutual pension model characterized by “self-management, self-service and
mutual assistance” came into being. Based on the current pension situation in three minority areas, Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous
region, Yinchuan in Ningxia Hui Autonomous region and Alashan League in Inner Mongolia, this paper studies the actual situation and
existing problems of mutual support for the aged in these three areas, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,
so as to better solve the problem of aging and providing for the aged in ethnic minority areas in China. To promote ethnic unity in China’s
