The Finite Element Simulations Analysis of Solid Heat Transfer

Xiong Jiang, Yu Zhang

Abstract

phenomena of heat conduction transfer was calculated with FEM software Ansys mechanical APDL, which concerns
about a tube joint. The second class boundary is to be set as the boundary conditions . Several sizes of mesh grid have been processed. The
calculated results of temperature fi elds and heat fl ux fi led were plot and analyzed.
The mechanical APDL is a powerful language and tool to calculate and simulate the engineering problems prefer to the GUI method.
The operate parameters such as mesh size and calculate cycle can be easily changed and manipulated.
